Remedy's highly anticipated psychological survival horror Alan Wake 2 will get more story content after launch in the form of paid expansions.

Alan Wake 2 stole the show at the PlayStation Showcase mainly thanks to its stunning visuals but also an eerie atmosphere which left horror fans craving for more. Luckily, there will be more Alan Wake 2 reveals as Remedy plan to show gameplay footage at the upcoming Summer Game Fest.

And fans will surely be happy to hear that Alan Wake 2 story won't be over once the game finally launches later this year on PC , PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S . Remedy have officially confirmed that two paid DLCs will be released after Alan Wake 2 launches, which is certainly fantastic news.

"We will be supporting Alan Wake 2 post-launch with both free content as well as two paid expansions. The expansions are called Night Springs and the Lake House," it's written in the official Alan Wake 2 FAQ.

Unfortunately, Remedy did not reveal additional details about these two expansions and we can't really tell much by the names either. All we know at the moment is that both expansions will be part of the game's Deluxe Edition, as you can see below.

The Deluxe Edition is obviously more expensive than the Standard one, costing $79.99, but it does come with plenty of additional content like cosmetic items and more.

The first Alan Wake game also had a couple of story DLCs including The Signal and The Writer so it's nice to see that the tradition continues with Alan Wake 2.
