As many players are slowly moving to endgame content through progression, they'll come face to face with crude oil for crafting weapons and ammo for high-tier items. Here are the best crude oil mining spots in Palworld 1.0.
Best Crude Oil Mining Spots in Palworld 1.0
Crude Oil is available all throughout Palpagos Island in Palworld 1.0. To get your hands on it, you'll have to establish an oil mining base. If you're looking for crude oil spots to establish your oil mining base, then head to these sites:
- Sakurjima
- Secluded Cemetery (Sakurajima fast travel)
- Mushroom Wetlands (Sakurajima fast travel)
To start mining oil, you'll need to start with the creation of a base near the oil nodes found all over the map. From my playthrough, I have found Sakurajima to be the best spot for oil farming after looking at the risk factor and ambient environment of other spots with the same thing.
For a crude oil base, you'll need electricity-generating Pals (with high efficiency). Alongside that you'll need Pals with farming, gathering, and transporting work suitability to keep the food system automated.
Once you have completed this setup, place Crude Oil Extractors on the oil node. You'll see oil being extracted from it. To make the process faster, complete the research tree part of crude oil extraction to make the whole process faster.
Just set it up once, then keep playing or doing anything you want in the game. As it doesn't require any Pals, the base will keep generating crude oil passively; you can just go and collect it to place in your guild chest to use it in your main base.
