If you're a fan of having your games on physical media then you'll be happy to hear that Alien: Isolation 2 will be releasing physically. As you can see from the clip that was posted by the official X account of the game, we will be receiving a physical copy of the survival horror sequel.
This will be great news for those who enjoy collecting physical games. With physical copies being a hot topic these days this is a nice addition to the game.
Alien: Isolation 2 Physical Release
The official Alien: Isolation account posted the clip on October 28th stating that there will be a physical release. More details regarding what the physical release will look like or if there will be any pre-orders have not been decided just yet.
We'll also have to wait until further information is released about which consoles will have a physical release. Currently Alien: Isolation 2 will be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.
Here's What We Know About Alien: Isolation 2
After being announced by SEGA and Creative Assembly. We will be following up on our survival horror experience but with a new world, storyline and character.
Alien: Isolation 2 will follow us on a remote colony world. You will have to survive the harsh storms on this planet and explore the outposts of Weyland-Yutani. Similar to the first game you'll have to survive the Xenomorph and all the hazards this world has to offer.
Creative Assembly has stated that we will be receiving an enhanced version of what made the original so enjoyable.
Alien: Isolation 2 Has No Release Date
Currently SEGA has not announced a release date for Alien: Isolation 2. There is no information on when pre-orders will open or how much the game will cost.
Hopefully more details will be revealed as we get closer to a release date. Those that enjoy physical releases should be happy with this news.
