Justice’s original score for Grand Theft Auto 6 is about to get a new track. A user on the Justice subreddit spotted “Pusher (feat. Gesaffelstein)” listed in the metadata of the GTA VI: Original Score album on Spotify, with the song already appearing on YouTube in New Zealand. It goes live worldwide at midnight local time on Thursday, October 30.
The collaboration between Justice and Gesaffelstein is a meeting of two of French electronic music’s most respected acts. Justice, the duo of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, were confirmed as composers of GTA VI’s original dynamic score on October 15 alongside the game’s launch trailer, which featured their single “Flower in a Hurricane” with Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Gesaffelstein, real name Mike Lévy, is a longtime friend and collaborator of Justice, having emerged from the same Ed Banger Records-adjacent scene. The two acts share a signature dark, industrial-inflected electronic sound that made the pairing feel inevitable to fans who have been following both careers for years.
“Pusher” will be part of GTA VI: The Original Score, the standalone score album separate from GTA VI: The Album, the 34-track collection of original songs organised by Atlantic Records. Both are due for release alongside the game on November 19, though individual score tracks are clearly being rolled out ahead of that date. Rockstar Games has not officially announced the track. GTA 6 is releasing for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
