As the new season is only weeks away, more changes to certain characters have been announced. Overall hipfire has been reworked, Jackal is getting a buff and Ace and Fuze will be getting a nerf to their weapon.
Rainbow Six Siege is weeks away from introducing Solis to its family. But before they can do that, they still need to tweak the rest of the roster in order to have a fair fight.
Firstly, hipfire will be getting a rework where it will go from being more accurate while laying down or crouching to being completely the same regardless of the position the player is in (standing, crouching or prone).
Fuze and Ace will be getting their AK-12 nerfed. The overall best-attacking gun will have its damage decreased from 45 to 40. While neither Fuze nor Ace has had a worryingly high presence, this nerf does not come as a surprise considering the overall killing potential of the gun, especially now that Ace was given the 1.5 scope.
Jackal will be getting a little bit of love and one of his primary weapons, the C7E will be getting an increase in magazine capacity. The magazine previously carried 26 bullets and has now been adjusted to carry 31.
The lower ranks tend to ban Jackal pretty often, mainly because of the power of his gadget and this buff could only give the community another reason to keep him out of their matches.
