With Patch 1.3.1.0, players can look forward to a new Battle Pass, significant gameplay changes, plus some fresh content and features for competitive REDSEC play.
Highlights for the latest patch include Battlefield Pro, an upcoming premium system designed to extend Battle Pass benefits. Battlefield Pro subscribers will receive benefits such as 25 Tier Skips, 5% XP Booster, Instant Unlocks, Bonus Assignments, additional Challenge rerolls, and more progression-based bonuses.
The latest update also continues to build upon Battlefield 6’s REDSEC offerings. Season 3 also looks to return the classic Golmud Railway map later this season.
Ranked Quads Arrive in REDSEC
Battlefield 6‘s Ranked mode is getting a new competitive edge with the addition of Ranked Battle Royale Quads. Competitive Squad battles will now have skill-based tiers from Rookie up to Master.
This feature aims to reward squads who participate in Ranked Quads with better progression and rewards.Elsewhere, Quad vehicles will be seeing changes as well with some quality of life improvements coming to ground vehicles and tanks.
Tank classes will no longer become disabled after sustaining severe damage. Ground vehicles will retain their boost momentum even if they are interrupted while boosting.
Weapons are another area of focus this update. Developers say they’re tweaking recoil patterns to help players understand weapon capabilities at range. Players can look forward to more attachment options for shotguns.
Notably, the Magnifier optic will now function as a cross-item attachment. Players will also see fixes to inconsistencies with reload animations, reticles, weapon attachments, and general gunplay.
Season 3 is just around the corner and it sounds like Battlefield 6 developers want to ensure players have a good foundation with which to experience its large-scale warfare. Version 1.3.1.0 is available now on PC.
