Warzone 2.0 - Where to land to guarantee a good start

We bet you cannot pronounce the actual names of the areas

Just like in every game that has at least a tiny bit of planning and tactics in it, map knowledge is important. We have gathered all of the areas that have everything the players need in order to have a good start upon landing in Warzone 2.0.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is the latest addition to the list of shooter games that are too good not to play. What makes it so good is Activision, Raven Software and Infinity Ward all working together to make the game accessible to everyone by not only making it free but also adjusting the gameplay to both new and returning players.

The map in Warzone 2.0 is very different from the original Warzone, so we have compiled a small list of locations that would be the ideal landing spots for all types of players.

1. Al Mazrah City

More specifically, right in front of the big building that has a buy station, a car and a helicopter. The reason behind this location is mainly money. Right next to the big building is a store with a lot of cash registers. Your primary focus would be finding any basic gun and getting to those registers ASAP.

Once registers have been looted, you will have enough money to head up to the roof of the big building and buy yourself a loadout and extra utility (a mask, vest or UAV) but be wary of camping players.

2. Quarry, Port or Fortress

If you are more of a peaceful player that prefers looting over PvP, these locations will do the job. There is a really high chance that at least one of them will be outside the Zone and therefore would not be attractive to the more aggressive players, but they will be close enough for you to not be doomed by the yellow smoke.

All of these areas do contain a buy station, a few cash registers, a sufficient amount of loot boxes and different means of transport.

3. Caves, Hydroelectric or Airport

These locations are perfect for thrill-seeking players who prefer stealing other players' loot rather than searching for their own. Due to the positioning and structure of these areas (differently levelled ground, many buildings and a high chance of the area being in the zone), they are a hot spot for PvP and aggressive plays.

If players do want to gain an advantage over their enemies, they can start one of the many contracts, complete it and risk going to one of the buy stations to get their loadout.
