Battlestate Games has taken to Twitter to show the community a small part of the upcoming patch and wipe in Escape from Tarkov.
While it has not been officially confirmed, the community has a few speculations associating this boss with Lightkeeper, while some believe that this is the Lightkeeper himself.
Speculation that might be the closest to the truth is that the "person" seen in the teaser might just be the bodyguard of the actual boss. When The Streets of Tarkov were released, the community did not get a new boss, so maybe now they'll get two?
They seem to be wearing a ghillie suit and some fashioned antlers. The players have given him the name "Antlerman" and according to the lore, he could be fitting the description of Zriyachi. Zriyachi is the Lightkeeper's "dog" (guard).
If this is true, it is only a matter of time before the Lightkeeper himself gets introduced into the game.
Lastly, the trailer does indicate that the new boss will be a sniper-based boss considering that right at the start, two raiders were sniped out from the distance.
Will BSG release the Lightkeeper with Antlerman or are the community speculations completely wrong? It is only a matter of time before we find out. If yes, this will be a very exciting patch for the whole Tarkov community.
