There is nothing more exciting than getting the Patch Notes for Rainbow Six Siege and the reason why is that with every patch, there is a high chance of the meta changing. But that might not be the case with Patch

Ever since the release of operation Solar Raid , Rainbow Six Siege has been running smoothly without many major issues occurring.

Ubisoft  have released the mid-season patches and these might be the most underwhelming patches the game has seen in a really long time.

WIN DELTA VS. PRESENCE

Firstly the win delta for both the attackers and defenders seems to be relatively okay. The only operator that seems to be standing out is Iana and we will probably be seeing a nerf to her very soon.

Ubisoft Iana has definitely been noticed by the developers, it's only a matter of time before she gets nerfed Iana has definitely been noticed by the developers, it's only a matter of time before she gets nerfed

When it comes to the ban rate, absolutely nothing has changed. The top banned operators on defence are still Mira and Valkyrie and on attack, it's Thatcher and Jackal. We should not be surprised if more changes come to Thatcher or if Mira gets nerfed.

OPERATOR BALANCE

GRIM

  • Added 1.5x and 2.0x to Commando 552

TWITCH

  • Increased Drones to 2 (from 1)
  • Removed Vertical Grip from F2

CAPITÃO

  • PARA-308 damage reduced to 47 (from 48)

ECHO, HIBANA, AMARU

  • SUPERNOVA damage increased to 55hp (from 48)

FROST

  • 9MM C1 damage reduced to 36hp (from 45)

MAVERICK

  • AR-15.50 damage increased to 67hp (from 62)
  • Added 2.0x sights to M4

THORN

  • UZK50GI damage reduced to 36hp (from 44)

WAMAI, IQ

  • AUG A2 vertical recoil: Increased upward speed.
  • AUG A2 horizontal recoil: Increased spread during long bursts with a slight tendency to the left.

These changes are very minor and the one thing that will make them effective is the new extended barrel damage bonus that increases the damage of the weapon by 15%, making some of the weapons like Capitao's PARA-308 strong enough to kill 3-speeds with 2 shots to the chest.
