Destiny 2 is cycling some weapons for all the playlists at the end of the season so here is a preview of what you might want to farm and what to expect in the future.
Bungie may be stepping away from vaulting in some areas of Destiny 2 but the game still has the system going strong in others.
For example, quite a few weapons are leaving the loot pool at the end of Season 20, in the first half of May 2023. That said, if you looted at least one along the way, you will still be able to focus most of them at the correct vendors.
Each weapon leaving the pool will be replaced by a new one so it is not like the amount of content will be reduced.
Destiny 2 weapons leaving the loot pool at the end of Season 20
- Nightfall
- Mindbender’s Ambition
- The Militia’s Birthright
- Trials of Osiris
- The Inquisitor
- Whistler’s Whim
- Iron Banner
- The Wizened Rebuke
- The Hero’s Burden
- Competitive
- Rose
Keep in mind that you can farm up to three Rose rolls each week but if you are fine with deleting characters, it can be even more.
Weapons entering Destiny 2 loot pool in Season 21
- Nightfall
- BrayTech Osprey
- Loaded Question
- Vanguard
- Positive Outlook
- Gambit
- Strand linear fusion rifle
- Crucible
- Randy's Throwing Knife
- Trials of Osiris
- The Messenger
- Arc Glaive
- Iron Banner
- Swarm of the Raven
- Strand Fusion Rifle
- Competitive
- Arc Sniper rifle
You probably noticed by now but there are more weapons going into the loot pool than there are those that are leaving so if anything, there will more content in total when the new season rolls around.
