Destiny 2 PvP is usually fast-paced, chaotic and camping is not rewarded. With the introduction of Solar 3.0 healing, this changed, and the overall gameplay slowed down.
Now, Bungie announced nerfs for healing coming in Season of the Wish on November 28, 2023, and like most changes, this one will affect PvP and PvE in different degrees.
The prime targets for the nerf were Restoration and Devour.
In PvE, Restoration healing will go down from 40 to 35 health per second for the first stack 65 to 50 for two stacks.
Meanwhile, in PvP, the nerf takes the healing down from 20 to 17.5 per second for the first stack and 32.5 to 25 for two stacks. Overall, both buffs will still be really powerful but there will be a little more time to react to a Guardian getting the heals before they are topped off.
As for Devour, it will no longer heal your full health bar, getting capped at 100 health instead. However, if you have Feed the Void equipped, it will still go for full health bar.
Additionally, Feed the Void will provide even more grenade regeneration while Devour is active so the aspect will become even more lucrative.
