The weekly reset for Destiny 2 occurred yesterday, and unfortunately for players, it was not the smoothest experience possible. Although the reset was intended to renew the rewards, challenges, and weekly activities,it had more than a few problems and bugs.
So the servers were pulled offline for extended periods of time in order to perform maintenance. As a result, players were unable to log in for a longer period of time than usual.
To address newly found bugs, Bungie published update 7.3.5.1 during the Destiny 2 Weekly Reset. While the update disrupted the typical weekly procedure, it was intended to resolve a number of flaws that are currently affecting the game.
So let's take a deeper look into the latest patch.
Destiny 2 Update 7.3.5.1 Patch Notes
Activities:
- In Crucible, a problem that caused Glaives to only get one round of ammunition from the Special Ammo Metre has been fixed.
- A bug that prevented private matches and Guardian Games Supremacy from accessing the Crucible sandbox updates has been fixed.
Gameplay:
- A bug that caused the Aurora Sacrifice armour decoration to cause the area around it to glow red when seen from a third-person perspective has been identified and fixed.
General:
- Fixed a bug that allowed Skimmers to jump up the sides of walls instead of falling down.
- Fixed an issue that could have resulted in the game client crashing while tricks were being performed on Skimmer animals.
- A problem that prevented the correct post-purchase animation from being displayed while claiming the Alliance Requisitions bundle from the Seasonal tab has been fixed.
- A bug that caused the platform name of a player to appear under Player Details rather than the player's Bungie name has been fixed.
- Addressed an exploit that had the potential to cause other players in the region to experience crashes.
While the fix for the wall bug may disappoint some players, other players in the Destiny 2 community continue to push the Skimmer's limits.
