Space dragons in Destiny 2, or Ahamkara as they are known in-universe, have some amazing powers but they were hunted close to extinction, with the players personally going after the most prominent one - Riven.
Riven was kept a secret by Mara Sov and Guardians took it down in The Last Wish raid, after which we presumed we were done with the corrupt-a-wish enthusiasts.
We presumed wrong, as the next season's name and the new teaser suggested.
Season of the Wish was a dead giveaway that the content would focus on the wish-granting dragons but it was not clear in what shape or form it would be done nor who would be the dragon of choice.
With the latest teaser, there are hints this could be Riven who somehow managed to evade death by getting corrupted. After all, this wouldn't be the first occurrence as Sloane pulled something similar in the past.
Granted, the teaser does not outright say it is Riven but it does show the dragon is "Taken" and its appearance is preceded by Mara Sov saying that every wish comes at a price.
Bungie also teased the plot takes place in the Dreaming City, all of which are pointers that this is indeed Riven. More will be revealed soon as Season of the Wish will launch on November 28, 2023.
