Silent Hill: Townfall, developed by No Code and published by Konami, loves making you work for even the smallest items, and the 6 North Brae puzzle is a good example. It turns up as part of a larger objective in the Clara Woods area, where you need to assemble a key from three separate pieces before you can push on through a locked door. One of those pieces sends you to an apartment at 6 North Brae, where a card with a barcode sits inside a combination lockbox. Getting the code means paying close attention to the apartment's décor rather than searching for a written number anywhere.
Reach the apartment and find the poem
Once you're directed to 6 North Brae as part of the key hunt, head inside and make your way to the room with the locked box. On the floor to the box's right you'll find a handwritten document titled Lamenting Poem. Three words in the text are picked out in red: boats, arches and children. Ignore the rest of the poem's content; it's flavour text. These three highlighted words are the actual puzzle, and each one points you towards a number hidden elsewhere in the apartment.
Count the boats in the painting
Still in the same room as the box, look for a framed watercolour painting of boats moored in a harbour. Study it closely and count every boat in the scene, including the smaller ones tucked near the larger ship. You should count seven in total. That's your first digit.
Count the arches on the bridge
Head to the bedroom on the same floor. Above the bedside lamp hangs a pencil drawing of an old stone bridge crossing a river. Count the arches holding it up; there are three of them. That's your second digit.
Count the children in the kitchen photos
Go downstairs to the kitchen, where three framed photographs are hung together on one wall. Look through all three and count every child pictured across them; some appear more than once, and the total comes to six. That's your third and final digit.
Enter the code and take the card
Put the three digits together in the order the poem highlighted them: boats, arches, and children, for a code of 736. Head back to the lockbox and enter it. The box will pop open with the barcode card inside, ready to be scanned inside CEG Lockers and pick up the key part from the locker and the pin it shows.
