The Miami Heat announced their Grand Theft Auto 6 partnership with Rockstar Games back in October. For one night only, on 18 November, they’ll play the Milwaukee Bucks as Vice City at the Kaseya Center, on a custom court, the night before the game launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A Vice City clothing collection has been on sale through the Heat store since then, but the jerseys themselves had been kept under wraps until today.
Two jerseys, one for the court and one for fans
There are two versions, both designed with Nike and Cactus Jack. The on-court jersey the players will wear is the more restrained of the pair, since NBA uniform rules don’t allow overt GTA 6 branding. GTA’s map is worked into the Heat logo on the chest, the team’s Robinhood sponsor patch sits where the “VI” would be, and Scott’s signature flipped Swoosh is there too.
The Swingman jersey for fans goes much further. It replaces the Heat logo with a “Vice City” script, adds a “VI” on the chest, and puts six pink stars on the hem as a nod to the maximum wanted level, alongside a tag co-branded by Rockstar, the Heat and Cactus Jack. Both are black with pink and white accents and come with matching shorts.
A familiar look for Heat fans
Anyone who’s followed the Heat for a while will notice the resemblance to the “Vice” alternate kits the team has worn before, which makes this crossover feel like a natural fit rather than a cash-in. The design also matches the Nike x Cactus Jack Air Force 1s that reportedly leaked earlier this week, which are said to launch alongside GTA 6 on 19 November, although Nike hasn’t confirmed those yet.
