In Lords of the Fallen, the recent RPG adventure with a Souls-like design by CI Games, the bosses are categorised into two groups: primary and secondary. Once you emerge victorious against the primary bosses, you'll see "Heresy Purged" displayed, and the secondary ones are marked with "Sinner Judged" upon their defeat. Additionally, conquering the primary bosses earns you special trophies/achievements.
One of the primary bosses awaiting you within the Revelation Depths level is Harrower Dervla, the Pledged Knight, who later undergoes a transformation, becoming The Unbroken Promise.

How to beat Harrower Dervla, the Pledged Knight (The Unbroken Promise)
Given that this boss battle happens in two different phases, it's essential to employ two separate strategies. In the initial phase, summon an ally and try to inflict maximum damage on the boss from a distance while her attention is diverted to the summoned companion. Simultaneously, exploit opportunities to strike the boss from the flank, but exercise caution regarding the sweeping sword swings, which cover a large area.
During the first stage, the boss will occasionally use a crossbow, and these attacks are relatively simple to evade. Additionally, she may initiate a healing sequence, which is most effectively disrupted by using ranged attacks or magic.
During the second phase, the boss receives reinforcement in the form of two whirling appendages that disrupt your attacks. In this stage, the optimal strategy involves maintaining close proximity to the boss and preventing her from creating distance. Whenever the boss attempts to move away, execute rapid rolls towards her and stay close by her legs, delivering consecutive strikes. In this phase, the boss exhibits reduced aggression but wields strong, withering attacks that can be easily dodged.
