Even though Lords of the Fallen is pretty much a linear game where the majority of bosses are located on predetermined paths, some bosses, like Abiding Defenders Duo, are located away from the main game's path and are completely optional.
Within the Manse of the Hallow Brothers game's level, just before you descend towards the big tower where you must activate one of the beacons, you will have the opportunity to engage in the optional boss fight with Abiding Defender Lirenne and Abiding Defender Kyra.
If this boss fight is giving you a headache, here are several tips and strategies accompanied by a comprehensive video guide that can help you emerge victorious from this very demanding boss fight.
How to beat Abiding defender Lirenne and Abiding Defender Kyra
- First of all, you should consider setting up the seedling camp near the arena, because if you die, and you most certainly will, retracing the steps from the nearest vestige can be quite tedious. Refer to the video to see where to set the seedling camp.
- Once you enter the arena, you will only have to fight two enemies, even though there are much more of them. Luckily, the others are just spectators and won't engage in fight.
- The bosses use pretty easily avoidable attacks, so as long as you time your dodges well and move around the arena, avoiding the light swords, you will be fine.
- The crucial tip in this fight is to deplete bosses' health simultaneously, because if you turn your focus on one of them and kill her, the other one will revive herself. The optimal strategy is to attack one of the bosses until her health bar is almost completely depleted, and then turn your attention to the other one. Once their health is close to the end, kill one, and then promptly kill the other one.
