Lords of the Fallen, the recent action RPG crafted by CI Games' studio, Hexworks, is a classic Souls-like game, featuring a multitude of boss battles that harken back to the glory days of the Dark Souls series.
Every boss encounter you face is unique, and a good number of them will resurface later as mini-bosses as your character becomes more powerful and advances through the game's levels.
One such boss is the Infernal Enchantress, the boss you will face at the beginning of the Lower Calrath level. If this boss is giving you a headache, we've prepared several tips along with a video walkthrough that showcases our successful boss fight attempt, so without further ado, let's begin.
How to beat Infernal Enchantress
Defeating the Infernal Enchantress can prove to be quite challenging, but with the right knowledge of positioning and strategy, it can become a walk in the park.
Much like numerous other bosses, this one is shielded by Umbral parasites, four of them to be exact. While the parasites are active, her health will be harder to reduce, making it highly unlikely that you'll disrupt her attacks. However, even with the parasites in play, defeating her remains a relatively simple task.
Success in this battle hinges on your positioning and ensuring you have a few ammo satchels on hand. Upon entering the arena, advance towards the boss, then swiftly retreat to the shelter of the nearby house's porch. By positioning yourself here, you will be shielded from the boss's fireball attacks, enabling you to engage her with ranged weapons. See the final part of the video to learn the perfect position.
For ranged attacks, the recommended weapon of choice is the javelin due to its curved trajectory. Alternatively, you can choose to engage the boss directly and then dodge her fireball attacks, though you must exercise caution to avoid getting struck as the fireballs track your movements.
Once you run out of javelins, restock by consuming an ammunition satchel. Use this strategy several times, and the boss is as good as dead. Keep in mind that this is only one method that works very well in this boss fight. But if you want, you can still try to destroy four parasites and fight the boss head-on, although this approach is much more dangerous and you can easily be set on fire.
