Fundamentally, this battle is less about confronting the boss and more about dealing with the relentless swarm of mobs that he continuously spawns. This horde can quickly overwhelm you if not managed effectively.

How to defeat Adyr, the Bereft Exile

As previously mentioned, this battle revolves around fighting the boss's summoned mobs. To start, it's crucial to stay mobile, as stationary positioning makes you vulnerable to the mob's widespread fireball attacks.
At the beginning of the fight, quickly climb the platform to the right. Use your Umbral Lamp to perform a soulflay attack on the dormant parasites within the inactive mobs. It's essential to act swiftly since it's going to be a lot harder to do so once the boss activates those mobs. Repeat this process on the left platform as well.
In this fight, ranged attacks become your most valuable asset. While it may be relatively easy to take down the mobs with melee strikes, the problem is that after you kill them, they explode, leaving behind pools of lava that inflict fire damage upon you. So, the more you kill using ranged attacks or magic, the better.
As you approach the final stages of the battle, be mindful that when only one or two mobs remain, the boss might attempt a devastating explosion capable of instant death. To avoid this, make haste to find and kill the remaining mobs as the battle draws to a close.
