In Lords of the Fallen, CI Games' most recent RPG adventure in the Souls-like genre, you'll face off against a grand total of thirty bosses. Among them, you'll encounter some that pose minimal challenge, while others will have you shedding tears, and in extreme cases, your controllers may bear the brunt of your frustration.
One of the less dangerous bosses you'll come across while traversing the bridge in Fitzroy's Gorge is Ruiner. This hulking boss boasts highly destructive fire-based attacks, but fortunately, it moves at a considerably slower pace that can definitely go to your advantage.

How to easily beat the Ruiner boss
The Ruiner can become an exceedingly perilous boss if you fall victim to one of its highly destructive attacks, especially when its shield is ablaze. However, by maintaining a safe distance, you can potentially avoid the boss's attacks entirely.
A highly efficient, almost cheesy tactic involves using either magic or ranged attacks, whether through spells, a bow, a crossbow, or even various throwable items like javelins or certain types of explosives. Simply keep your distance and keep throwing things at the boss. Once you run out, make sure to pack an ammunition satchel or ammunition pouch to refill.
At this stage, the boss will summon fire pools from the ground, as long as you keep your distance, and this is going to be the only attack he employs. This attack is extremely easy to avoid. Once the boss gets close to you, dodge his attack, move away, and repeat the strategy. Keep doing this, and you will emerge victorious very soon.
