Blizzard Entertainment has revealed Hazard, the next upcoming Tank hero joining the active roster in Overwatch 2. As the leader of a gang known as the Phreaks, Hazard uses an experimental powerset linked to some sort of mysterious sphere in Oasis.
A new gameplay trailer has been released to get fans excited about the arrival of this new hero.
Hazard's abilities relate to his peculiar sharded-shooting weapon into enemies for damage. He can also summon spikes from the ground with his secondary attack, making him a great threat on the battlefield. However, Blizzard is yet to share his overall survivability and other abilities.
Fans will not have to wait long to test Hazard because Blizzard hosts a limited test from the 22nd up until the 25th of November. This early hands-on will let players experiment with his skills to see how he fits into the Tank role.
Along with the new hero, more details have started to emerge about Overwatch 2 Season 14. It'll kick off on December 10th and will be packed with new content, including a major update to that character: a Legendary skin for Venture.
It promises a playtest of the return of 6v6 gameplay, which is an exciting layer for this games' rudimentary community.
