Developer The Game Kitchen and publisher Team 17 have officially announced the release date for the big expansion for Blasphemous 2 called Mea Culpa. The DLC will release on October 31 across all platforms including PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox and Switch.
Mea Culpa is a paid expansion for Blasphemous 2 with a new story that centres around Mea Culpa, the lost sword wielded by The Penitent One in the first game.
The Game Kitchen are also launching a major free update for Blasphemous 2 alongside the paid DLC. The update called True Torment is bringing the highly-requested New Game Plus mode and host of other features too including the expansion of existing zones and new zone connections, new abilities, new enemies, new prayers, QoL features, accessibility features and much more.
