007 First Light may have even more free content on the way. Developer IO Interactive has hinted that another piece of free content is releasing later this week.
It was fairly recently that IO Interactive dropped free new content for the game, expanding the Tactical Simulation Mode with new missions, weapons, and cosmetics. In addition to that mission pack, IO Interactive also announced a separate mission that tasks players with finding Lenny Kravitz’ Bawma.
Free DLC Coming to 007 First Light October 1
IO Interactive has shared a small video via the official 007 First Light X account. Players are treated to a quick shot of a car driving along a scenic road as the message reveals that “a free DLC is just around the bend”.
Players will have to wait until October 1 to find out more about this mystery free DLC.
With the developer posting a picture of a car zooming around, questions about this new content naturally arise. However, IO Interactive has yet to say if this new free DLC will focus on vehicles, missions, cosmetics, or something else entirely.
There is one piece of information on IO Interactive’s 007 First Light Year One roadmap that makes this car-focused teaser a bit curious.
When describing the Bawma mission, IO Interactive detailed that players will return to Aleph’s black market located in Mauritania. What’s more interesting about this mission is that it will include off-road encounters, focusing more on driving than past TacSim missions.
Could this new teaser be alluding to the Bawma mission releasing soon? For now, IO Interactive has said nothing to confirm that this free DLC and the Bawma mission are the same.
Players can expect more Tactical Simulation Mode content to be released throughout the year, so IO Interactive has their bases covered should this not be the Bawma mission.
