Developer and publisher Gryphline has announced that Arknights: Endfield has surpassed 35 million pre-registrations globally. The game studio made the announcement during a Special Program event commemorating Endfield‘s launch date, which is set for January 22, 2026 for PlayStation 5, PC, iOS and Android.
That’s nearly four years since Arknights first unveiled Endfield during its previous World Premiere livestream. Since then, Endfield has continued growing its audience as its registrations ballooned from 30 million users just one month ago to now breaking 35 million.
Gryphline also dropped three new trailers today ahead of Endfield‘s launch, including a cinematic-focused gameplay trailer. Set to the tune of We Are Empire by Starset, players can expect an action-packed adventure full of worldbuilding and storytelling.
As announced by Gryphline, Endfield is a free-to-play action RPG spin-off title that puts emphasis on real-time hack-and-slash gameplay over its basegame tower defence premise. Developed by the original Arknights creators, players will venture across Talos-2 — a moon currently experiencing societal, environmental, and biological dangers that threaten to plunge it into turmoil.
Players assume control of the Endministrator, leader of Endfield Industries who has been tasked with restoring order to Talos-2 by way of an ancient and secretive initiative known as the Zeroth Directive.
However, the Endministrator has since lost their memories, and no one else remembers what the Directive actually entails. Arknights: Endfield also introduces tactical gameplay systems like managing four characters in realtime as players hack and slash through enemies.
In addition to combat, players can upgrade resources, craft new items, and grow their industry while exploring the expansive environments via Automated Industry Complexes.
Players can enjoy Arknights: Endfield on PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android at launch. DualSense, DualShock, and Xbox controllers are all supported, while PC players will benefit from features like DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation, as well as 120 FPS support.
