Phantom Blade Zero has achieved a significant early milestone, with the action role-playing game receiving over one million wishlists on digital storefronts just a few weeks after release. The achievement indicates rising hype for the upcoming game, set for a global release in September 2026.
The announcement of the one-million-wishlist milestone was shared on the game’s official Twitter account, with the developers sharing that the milestone had been achieved only 15 days after the start of wishlist submissions on December 12.
The studio added that as of today, the number has already grown beyond that milestone, setting an already impressive tone for the year ahead.
One million wishlists in under three weeks
Posting a thank you to fans on social media, the Phantom Blade Zero team praised what it described as an overwhelming response. The tweet also called on players to continue wishlist submissions on all platforms supporting the feature, seemingly confident that the current momentum will drive continued interest in the months to come.
Achieving one million wishlists in under three weeks is an impressive milestone in and of itself, and all the more so for a new IP. Phantom Blade Zero joins a select group of highly-anticipated upcoming titles, with the majority coming from the action RPG genre in particular.
