Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 7 is a blast from the island’s past, returning players to a winter wonderland of content that harkens back to the game’s earliest days. Epic Games has been on a roll to reintroduce old content, so long-time players can remember and enjoy some of Fortnite’s best times from previous seasons.
While the newest Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass has launched, the OG rotation is just as exciting for those who want to take a trip down memory lane or for players who missed some of the battle royale’s most classic days.
Season 7’s nostalgic time in Fortnite is known for its holiday cheer, unmissable POIs and nostalgic loot pool full of explosive shenanigans and freedom of movement.
All returning skins, POIs and features in OG Season 7
Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 7 is returning an extensive variety of cosmetics and map items from the past.
Gamers will get to see their favorite winter skins again, along with a new OG Battle Pass that will contain throwback cosmetics as well as nostalgic favorites from the original 2018 season upgraded and freshened up for the new battle royale event.
The map will be getting some returns too, as a number of classic snow POIs will return.

Full Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 7 Loot Pool changes
Epic Games has been teasing an extensive list of returning items, which will provide players with the sandbox chaos that made the early seasons of Fortnite so unforgettable. The loot pool is overflowing with mobility items, explosives, throwables and of course the weapons that defined the meta seven years ago.
Here is every confirmed item returning in Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 7:
- Balloons
- Boom Box
- Dual Pistols
- Glider Redeploy
- Infinity Blade during the season
- Scoped Assault Rifle
- Scoped Revolver
- Stink Bombs
- Suppressed Sniper Rifle
- X-4 Stormwing planes
Infinity Blade will be making its mid-season return just as it did during the original run, while the X-4 Stormwing is sure to cause chaos once it’s airborne. The Boom Box and Stink Bombs will also return, reopening old playstyles not seen in years.
New additions in OG Chapter 1 Season 7
In addition to the returning content, Epic is also rolling out a new version of the OG Battle Pass, along with new skins, a new seasonal umbrella, some extra map changes, and more winterized updates for the Christmas spirit.
The goal is to preserve the nostalgia, but update it enough to make it feel new instead of repackaged.
