Fortnite’s annual Winterfest celebration is coming back again, and 2025’s event is already looking to be one of the most content-heavy in recent memory.
Epic Games has been dropping new files into the game’s latest update for weeks now, while a number of trusted leakers have been spilling details on the collaborations, rewards, cosmetics, and gameplay elements set to arrive in the game later this December.
While the event’s specific start date is still unconfirmed, Winterfest has become a yearly mainstay in Fortnite’s yearly rotation of events, mixing free gift-giving with a map-wide theming update, new bosses to take on, and a few high-profile crossovers as well.

Dataminers have found references to a brand-new winter skin for the Japanese singer, but have yet to confirm if this will be sold in the Item Shop or handed out for free as one of the Winterfest gifts.
Fortnite x Harry Potter skins

Luckily for players, Winterfest 2025 will include a number of customisable Harry Potter skins where you will be able to select which Hogwarts House you wish to represent. A Broom Mythic is also on its way, which will allow players to soar around the island.
Fortnite’s Winterfest Cabin is also likely to return again this year, rewarding players with daily gifts in true Winterfest fashion. The cabin was removed in recent years, but it was brought back in 2024 so it’s highly likely to return for the 2025 season too.
