There are 34 trophies/achievements to unlock in Where Winds Meet, and guys and girls from NetEase Games made sure none of them is extremely hard to obtain; in fact, they are all quite easy, to be honest.
However, a miscellaneous trophy called Goose Slayer can be tricky; not because it is hard to unlock, but because it can be quite confusing.
This particular trophy will require you to defeat Demon Goose; however, this goose is extremely hard to find if you don't know where to look for it. Luckily, we already found it and defeated it, and we are ready to share this valuable knowledge with you, so if you want to find out everything about this mysterious goose, here is a guide dedicated to it.
How to locate Demon Goose
Demon Goose is a boss, but if you're not careful, you can very easily miss it by doing one of the side quests correctly. Demon Goose will appear only if you mess up this quest.
Between Heaven's Pier and Blissful Retreat, you'll come across a sick goose, and once you approach it, you'll get a side quest to perform the healing on this goose. Check out the map below to see the exact location of this quest and the sick goose in question.
How to start the quest
The game will pretty much explain everything to you once you approach the goose. You'll have to activate Wind Sense by holding the R3 button (PS5 controller) and then press the triangle while focused on the goose; this action will start the healing process.
Now this part is very important. If you've done the profession quest 'Healer' before this one, you'll have enough skill to successfully heal the goose, and once you do, she will give you an item called 'Sturdy Goose Egg', which you'll be able to hatch later.
If you do this, you'll miss the Demon Goose boss, but fear not, even after treating the goose, it will still be there for you to repeat the healing process. All you have to do is to fast travel from and to this place, and there it will be, sick as before.
The ideal scenario is to commence healing before partaking in the aforementioned profession quest. In this way, you'll fail the quest, and the goose will go berserk. If you want to fail the quest while being able to heal the goose, simply skip the healing by pressing the square button ten times.
Boss fight strategy
Demon Goose is a formidable foe, and if you try to beat it fair and square, you'll get obliterated. However, there is a very easy strategy to beat it with zero problems.
As soon as the fight breaks, run towards the riverbank and wait for the goose there. Once it approaches, use the Tai Chi mystic skill to grab it and throw it into the river. As soon as the goose falls into the river, it will die and you'll win the fight.
If you want to fight it fair and square, though, you'll have to wait a bit to properly level up and equip stronger gear. If you're inside the endgame area, then you'll be able to defeat it without too many problems.
