One of the first puzzles that will put your mind to the test in Atomic Heart will be the overheated boilers puzzle. In this guide, we will show you how to solve it.
Atomic Heart is not a game that will demand a lot of brain effort from you. Mundfish 's latest RPG-style shooter is more of a game for quick reflexes, in which you must fight mad robots to survive by the skin of your teeth in a utopia gone wrong.
Yet, make no mistake, there will be times when you will need to utilise all of your wits and puzzle-solving skills to overcome the obstacles that the game will throw at you.
One such instance will be a task where you must gather four canisters to heal the tree to go forward in the story. As part of this mission, you must use small orbs known as candles to cool three overheating boilers. So if you are having trouble with this puzzle, here is the solution for you.
How to solve the overheated boilers puzzle in Atomic Heart?
You'll notice three robots ahead of you as you approach the boiler room. A mix of shock attacks and headshots is the easiest way to dispatch them. When you've dealt with these guys, go inside the room on your left and stealth kill the robot in front of you. Get rid of the next robot, which will be in the middle of the room.

Exit the room and scan the area once the coast is clear. On your left, you should notice a broken boiler filled with cryogenic candles. Bring one candle to the chamber where you fought the last two robots (the room with the music playing). The opened tube is on the wall to the left of the room's entrance. Bring the candle close to the tube, and it will be sucked inside.

Return to the main room and look for the candle in the transparent tube. Pull it and direct it through the pipes to the overheated boiler using your glove. When you place the candle above the boiler, it will cool down. Do this two more times, and you're ready to go upstairs to get the canister. Be cautious that once you cool one of the boilers, a couple of robots will appear, and you will have to fight them.
