One of the many puzzles in Atomic Heart is the laser-related one, where you must rearrange the lasers to match the colour of the dots. Here are some tips, as well as a video of how to do it easily.
Atomic Heart , Mundfish 's newest RPG-style shooter, features a surprising number of puzzle mechanics for an FPS game. One of the first puzzles you'll have to solve in Atomic Heart will be within the game's first hour, where you'll still be learning new gameplay mechanics.
This puzzle will be introduced in the mission "Not So Fast, Major," where your goal will be to power up the elevator in order to proceed further into the story.
These puzzles will grow more complicated as you move through the game, but the procedure for solving them will remain the same. If you're having trouble solving these puzzles, we'll show you how to do it with no fuss.
Tips for solving the laser puzzle in Atomic Heart
When you come across this puzzle, whether it's on the wall or the floor, approach it and press R1 to activate it. Three lasers in two different colours, red and white, will be seen leading to three dots in various colours on the opposite side of the panel.
You must reposition the lasers to match the colours of the dots in order to complete the puzzle. The first puzzle will be very simple to complete, but the ones that follow will require some thought because they will include splitters as well. Because the splitters will sometimes divide the laser upwards and sometimes downwards, you must respond in kind.
The simplest solution is to retrace the colours from the dots and rearrange the lasers in the first column. For example, if you have one red and two white lasers and one white and two red dots, divide the red laser in half using the splitter, and then rearrange the lasers to match the dots.
In order for you to understand even better, we have included a small video that shows how to solve this puzzle in a very simple way.
