AI Limit, the latest action RPG from Sense Games, is a true Souls-like game that will test your skills like Dark Souls games used to do earlier. Being a Souls-like, it is evident that this game's greatest challenge will be formidable bosses, and do not worry, you'll be challenged.
Speaking of bosses, the first couple of them won't be too much of a challenge and will serve only to teach us the mechanics; however, the boss you'll come across just before entering the town area of Heavenswell, Necro, the Panic Reaper, will test your skills on a different scale.

How to beat Necro, the Panic Reaper
Necro, the Panic Reaper is one of those dancing bosses, and if you manage to get into the correct rhythm of her moves, you'll have better chances of getting out of the encounter victorious. However, it is always easier said than done, and once you enter this fight,, all hell will break loose.
Necro, the Panic Reaper deals two types of damage: physical and piercing damage. Pearcing damage is a silent killer and is presented as the red bar on the screen; keep an eye on this gauge because if it fills, you'll receive piercing damage and around 80 per cent of your health will suffer.
Even though it might look differently, this fight is all about perfect parries; if you manage to time them right, you'll have zero problems to defeat this boss. The only attack that is extremely hard to parry is the plung attack, but this one is very easy to read and can be dodged to the side without problems.
Regarding parries in AI Limit, they are timed a bit differently than in some other Souls-likes; to do them correctly, you must hold the L1 button half a second before the attack lands (not at the exact time like in Sekiro or Lies of P, for example). It might seem like a bit hard to time the parry, but once you manage to do it, your life in AI Limit will become considerably easier.
