There are regular weapons you can find in the game, and as is the case with every Souls-like game, there are boss weapons as well, and those are way more powerful than the regular ones, usually featuring some special stats and all sorts of elemental damages.

How to get boss weapons in AI Limit
Since AI Limit is quite a linear game, the boss weapon option will come a bit later in the game, and we can inform you that it is almost impossible to miss it. How to make this option work, on the other hand, can be quite tricky, and there is a possibility it can pass by you without you even noticing it.
After beating the Cleansing Knight boss, you'll have the opportunity to continue your journey to the place called Underground Parish, and after activating the first Branch there, keep going forward until you reach two NPCs, one human and one robot. You'll know you're in the right place when the robot attacks you, but fear not; you won't get hurt.
Speak to both of them and exhaust their conversation; the human will tell you something about his robot companion, and from now on, you'll be able to offer him nucleuses along with some crystals you get from some bosses in exchange for the boss weapons.
However, the robot won't stay at that place forever, and once you beat the next boss, you'll enter the sewers again. Once you're in the sewers, if you follow the path that leads to the right, you'll come across the human NPC again. After speaking to him, he will inform you that his friend went to Temporary Campsite. Fast travel there, and he will offer you his services from that place for the rest of the game.
