In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the latest RPG from Warhorse Studios, Henry will start off with Pebbles as his horse—a gift to Henry from the first game. If you don't know where to obtain Pebbles, see our guide.
While Pebbles serves as your initial companion, you’ll have the option to replace it with another horse offered to you for free at a certain point early in the game. Beyond that, you can buy horses from stud farms in four locations: one on the first map and three in the Kuttenberg region.
However, there’s also a newly introduced mechanic—you can mount and steal horses throughout the game, but there are exceptions to this as quest-related horses or those belonging to other in-game characters are off limits. Stolen horses can be taken to black-market horse traders (you can read more about it in our guide), where you can either sell them to earn some groschen or make them your own.

So if we can be bold enough to choose in your stand, we would say that the best horse overall in the entire game is Erdel. It isn't the fastest horse in the game, and its stamina is a bit lower, but it definitely has the most balanced stats throughout all the categories.
