Following the recent leak, Microsoft has officially announced that the next Xbox Partner Preview is happening on October 17th and will feature third-party games only.
It starts at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET/6 PM BST, and while the runtime is expected to run for around 25 minutes, viewers are in for a treat: an exciting over a dozen or so set of trailers from several major partners like Remedy Entertainment, 505 Games, Sega, and more.
Three titles have already been confirmed to make an appearance on the show: Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza will receive a new look in Hawaii, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will debut several boss fights, and Alan Wake 2 is sure to shed more light on its upcoming expansion, The Lake House. These will be new looks and updated gameplay for those games.
Beyond these titles, Microsoft has teased that several world premieres and new game announcements will happen, alongside releasing dates for projects still in works. Expect a raft of surprises targeted at old fans of Xbox games and those wanting to discover new series.
This fall, Microsoft is likely to promote some of the season's most salacious titles such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and also the long-awaited Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
The upcoming Xbox Partner Preview is shaping up to be pretty worth it; this is certainly something most gamers are looking forward to in terms of new releases, updates, and more.
