Xbox has revealed the first set of games coming to Game Pass this June 20th. While this won’t be the largest lineup we see this year, there’s still plenty to celebrate.
June is sure to provide subscribers plenty of new, day-one, old favorites, and unique experiences on console, cloud, and PC. June’s first wave of Game Pass additions comes only days before its monthly Xbox Games Showcase on June 7, where Microsoft is expected to announce future titles coming to Xbox along with some major first-party titles.
In addition to announcing new games coming to Game Pass, Xbox has revealed which games subscribers will lose access to this month. Both additions and removals will take effect on June 20th.
Nine games are included in this first June Game Pass wave, three of which are day-one launches on the service and one coming to Game Preview. One big addition is the return of Persona 5 Royal. If you haven’t played it yet, Persona 5 Royal is one of the most beloved JRPGs of all time.
Other day-one additions you can look forward to include the chill survival-builder Solarpunk, boxing simulator Undisputed, and cooperative sci-fi adventure Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions.
The full Wave 1 lineup includes:
- Herdling – June 4
- Total Chaos – June 4
- Solarpunk – June 8 (Day One)
- Undisputed – June 8
- Persona 5 Royal – June 9
- Beastro – June 11
- Frog Sqwad – June 11
- Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions (Game Preview) – June 11 (Day One)
- Junkster – June 16 (Day One)
Titles will be playable on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass for most games, but select titles will be playable through cloud gaming and handheld integration as well. Xbox also announced that five games will be departing from the service on June 15.
If subscribers still wish to play those games after they depart, they can buy them at a discounted price before they leave.
Games leaving Game Pass this month include Jurassic World Evolution 2, Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Warhammer 40K Space Marine: Master Crafted Edition, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.
