The next adventure coming early next year for fans will be Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. The new spinoff to the Yakuza franchise puts its icon, Goro Majima, this time out as an amnesiac pirate.
While the setting and story are fresh, the game will be sticking to its roots with beloved minigames that have become staples in the series. Recently, IGN unveiled more than 12 minutes of new gameplay that let the player get a better look at what they can do in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
Karaoke returns once again with Yakuza, another key staple of the series, this time again challenging fans with rhythm-based challenges and memorable performances.
Along with this set of familiar minigames, the video also reveals some of the in-game customization options that allow players to fiddle with their character's looks and accessories.
Be it racing in Dragon Kart or belting out tunes in some karaoke, gameplay footage suggests Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is going to keep a quirky, fun spirit alive.
