Where Winds Meet will conclude its Hexi Expansion with the launch of chapter Qinchuan on April 30. The game has received new chapters continuously since the expansion’s launch in early March.
Like previous chapters in the Hexi Expansion, Qinchuan will hopefully conclude the story and traversal opportunities introduced in recent updates.
The new trailer shows a glimpse of what players can expect in terms of story progression and new challenges that await them in the game's final area.
Final Chapter Brings New Areas and Challenges
Chapter Qinchuan will be the final stop in Hexi’s trail of new content. The expansion has consistently introduced players to new areas of the map, each with their own enemies and battle mechanics.
As players have journeyed from chapter to chapter, Winds has revealed close to 20 unique sub-regions. As such, traversal and discovery have been consistent themes of the Hexi Expansion.
Each new chapter has opened up more of the map for players to find, and Qinchuan will likely be no different.Similarly, each chapter has presented players with new bosses to defeat.
Bosses in Liangzhou, in particular, forced players to experiment with different strategies. Weapons like the Heng Blade forced players to rethink typical engagement strategies with its counter attack design.
While we don’t know much about Qinchuan’s bosses just yet, it’s likely they will fit this same formula; introducing tough enemies that require learned mechanics to defeat.
Hopefully, Qinchuan will leave players satisfied as the conclusion to Winds Where Meet’s latest content update. For players who have been with the game since the start of Hexi, April 30 will mark the conclusion of their growing adventure.
