Silent Hill is a well-known franchise in the world of video games and, as of late, even in the world of cinematography. After last year's fantastic remake of Silent Hill 2 done by Bloober Team, it all pointed out that this popular Konami franchise is going in the right direction.
Silent Hill f, on the other hand, put a lot of question marks above the fans' heads because this move from Konami was definitely threading through the unknown, which, ultimately, paid off handsomely, it seems.
As proof for this claim, Konami just announced that Silent Hill f reached the milestone of one million copies sold worldwide in both physical and digital form, making it the fastest game among this series to achieve it in such a short amount of time.
What makes this achievement even greater is the fact that Silent Hill f was released during a very busy period when we got the likes of Borderlands 4, AE FC 26, Dying Light: The Beast, and some more games, which definitely wasn't easy to accomplish.
In any case, it seems the change of protagonist and moving away from the foggy town of Silent Hill to a small Japanese town didn't have a negative effect on the fans. On the contrary, Silent Hill f has broken the sales record in just four days from its official release.
Silent Hill f was released on September 25, 2025, and is available to play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC over Steam and Epic Store.
