The Silent Hill 2 remake has been given a new trailer by Bloober Team, showcasing the immersive features of the game for the PS5. The game will support 4K resolution for high-end displays, offering sharper visual quality.

Bloober Team just dropped a brand-new trailer for the Silent Hill 2 Remake to show off the game's immersive features that come with the PS5. First of all, it has a mixture with the DualSense controller.

Thanks to PlayStation's Haptic Feedback, players will feel each hit of a weapon; thanks to the Adaptive Triggers, tension will be felt very realistically, especially when firing a shotgun. Besides these feelings, the game will use 3D audio for a more intense experience in horror.

The effect will really be amplified with the Pulse 3D Wireless headphones, although 3D audio is also supported by standard TV speakers and most types of headphones.

Another useful feature is the DualSense Lightbar since this may help players monitor health: it turns red when health is low and green when healed.

It is yet to be made clear, however, whether the Lightbar will be the same in case the players decide to turn the UI off, and use the 90s filter for that retro feel.

And for owners of high-end displays, the game will also support 4K resolution, offering an even sharper detail in visual quality.

The Silent Hill 2 remake launches on October 8th this year for PS5 and PC. If this new trailer is anything to go by, it's going to be a PS5 exclusive for one year, reaching other consoles in October 2025. Keep an ear out for more details as its release gets closer!
