The doomed odyssey of James Sunderland in search of his deceased wife is the NTN of Silent Hill 2 Remake, coming out on October 8. A newly released trailer gives fans a sneak peek at what can be expected from the creepy and unsettling experience that awaits them in the remade version of the horror classic.
Silent Hill 2 Remake has received very positive reviews, presently sitting at an 87 Metascore on Metacritic. From the launch trailer, it is seen that the protagonist, James Sunderland, comes across Silent Hill after receiving a mysterious letter from his deceased wife, Mary.
Silent Hill 2 Remake launches for PS5 and PC on October 8th. If you buy the Deluxe Edition, you can get early access on October 6th.
However, Pyramid Head is arguably the most dangerous threat that looms large in a quest to stop James. The terrors surrounding him aside, James is determined to find Mary.
The trailer leaves a sort of acceptance or realization toward the end as two Pyramid Heads ominously emerge from behind. This is very cryptic, leaving the gamer wondering what that scene means, which then leads many to speculate about the different twists within the storyline.
Many of these scenes will be quite familiar to those familiar with the original game. However, it is expected that new insights into the story and improved graphics will also be available with the remake.
