According to the latest listing over at Nintendo eShop, Paper Mario: The Origami King will require a total of 6.5 GB of space on your Nintendo Switch hard drive.

Out of nowhere, Nintendo yesterday announced Paper Mario: The Origami King, their next major Mario title. The game will, of course, arrive exclusively to Nintendo Switch and by the looks of it, it is set to become the biggest instalment in the long-running RPG series in terms of the scope of the actual world and story and also in file size.

According to the official listing over at Nintendo eShop UK and US stores, Paper Mario: The Origami King will require a total of 6.5 GB of space on your Switch console. Of course, Paper Mario is not even close to the biggest Switch games like NBA 2K20 which clocks at 25 GB.

When compared to other popular exclusives, Paper Mario's file size is really close to Animal Crossing: New Horizons which clocks at 6.6 GB.

All in all, rest assured, the game will not put your Switch hard drive to its knees which is always good, especially now when Nintendo have a lot of mega-popular titles to offer.
