Bethesda Softworks revealed a slew of major titles during this week’s Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase. This week’s stream confirmed several games we already knew would launch on the Nintendo Switch 2, including Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
But two of gaming’s biggest RPG franchises will also be making the jump to Nintendo’s next console. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered and Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition were both confirmed for the Switch 2 during Nintendo’s Direct.
Owners of Nintendo’s next console now have a pretty good idea of what games they’ll get this year in 2026. We have official release dates, trailers, and pricing for both titles so Bethesda’s first-year support is already shaping up.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered comes to Switch 2
Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 sometime later in 2026. It comes with a new trailer for the upcoming remaster.
You can expect:
- The base game.
- Both expansions.
- The graphical improvements of the remaster.
No release date has been detailed yet but we now know for certain that one of Bethesda’s biggest RPGs will be on Nintendo’s new system.
Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition gets release date and price
It was also announced during the showcase that Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition is on its way to Nintendo Switch 2, after being leaked earlier today.
Bethesda officially shared that Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition is releasing on February 24, 2026.

- The game will cost €59.99.
- Digital and physical releases will be available.
- Pre-orders are open.
The game includes the base game and all of its additional content. If you’re looking to jump into Fallout 4, this is the version to get.
