Nintendo Treehouse: Live announced for February 24

Nintendo Treehouse: Live airs February 24 with hands-on gameplay of Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Switch 2 Edition and Pokémon Pokopia.

Nintendo will host another Nintendo Treehouse: Live stream on February 24 starting at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET. The company shared this information in a press release earlier today.

The stream will feature gameplay demos of two games. Nintendo Treehouse: Live sessions don’t typically contain trailer-focused announcements. Instead, these longer Nintendo Direct-inspired presentations usually include extended demonstrations of gameplay as well as commentary from developers.

Coverage will last around 80 minutes and will stream on Nintendo’s YouTube channel. The games set to be showcased are Super Mario Bros. Wonder, which is being rebuilt for the Switch 2 and a new Pokémon game.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Switch 2 Edition Details

Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park launches on March 26. The sequel will act as a Switch 2 version and upgraded version of the platformer that released in 2023. Included in this upgrade is a new single-player campaign where Mario and friends take on the Koopalings to collect the Bellabel Flowers.

There will also be an Assist Mode option for accessibility reasons, as well as a new zone called Bellabel Park. This area of the game acts as a collection of multiplayer attractions where players can work together and compete against one another.

Expect Nintendo to show off all of these features during their Treehouse focusing on Mario’s sequel. Seeing everything explained will also help us understand how much of a difference the Switch 2 version will have over launch.

Pokémon Pokopia Also Featured

One thing we also know will be shown off during the stream is Pokemon Pokopia gameplay. Outside of that fact, not much is known about the project but we can expect straight gameplay thanks to the format.Nintendo Treehouses typically walk players through systems, UI, and multiplayer components.

If that’s the case here, viewers will get one of the better looks at what’s next for the Pokémon franchise. Between Pokopia and Mario getting a solid hour and a half of gameplay shows, February 24’s stream is already looking like one of Nintendo’s bigger events for the first half of 2026.
