On May 3, 2023, League of Legends players can expect Patch 13.9 to go live, which includes the updated splash art for Sivir. Fans of the game can look forward to experiencing this new feature firsthand.

Earlier this year, Riot shared a dev log which contained exciting news about champions, game modes, skins, and more. One of the highlights from the video was the announcement of Teemo and Lee Sin's upcoming ASU. Additionally, players can look forward to a new 2v2v2v2 game mode and exclusive skins from Wild Rift coming to League of Legends PC. Riot also revealed plans to update the splash art for existing champions and skins.

Riot has always been dedicated to updating the visuals of their champions since the game's release. Recently, they focused on enhancing the VFX of some champions and updated the splash art for Kassadin.

This year, they continued their efforts by revamping the splash art for Rugged Garen, one of the oldest skins in the game. Additionally, Hecarim's splash art also received an update in subsequent patches. Fans can now anticipate the updated splash art for Sivir, one of the popular ADCs in League of Legends.

Compared to her previous base splash art, the current one for Sivir is starting to look outdated. However, with the upcoming patch, players can anticipate a refreshed version that exudes a bounty-hunter vibe and showcases Shurima's beauty. The new splash art is of higher quality and will make Sivir look more modern.

Although the new splash art is a welcome change, it highlights the need for an update on Sivir's older skins such as Warrior Princess Sivir and Spectacular Sivir. Similar to the changes made to Rugged Garen, fans can expect Riot to update these skins in the future.
