The upcoming Bracket Stage of the League of Legends MSI 2023 is set to begin on May 9, 2023, with eight teams left in the tournament after the draw on May 6, 2023. Unfortunately, fans from the West were left disappointed as LEC and LCS teams were matched up with LCK and LPL teams, respectively.
Aside from the exciting games, fans who watch the matches on LoLEsports website can also earn Watch Rewards such as exclusive emotes and icons. The MSI 2023 Inkshadow Event also offers rewards for playing League of Legends games. Furthermore, Mercedes Chests are up for grabs during every MSI 2023 Gameday, providing fans with even more rewards.
However, it remains unclear how much participants in the tournament will be receiving as rewards. Riot has disclosed the minimum prize pool for MSI 2023, as well as additional rewards throughout the tournament.
Prize Pool
The prize money allocation for teams competing in MSI 2023 has been revealed, based on a minimum prize pool of $250,000 and percentage distribution. Here are all the rewards:
- 1st Place: $50,000 (20% of the prize pool)
- 2nd Place: $37,500 (15% of the prize pool)
- 3rd Place: $30,000 (12% of the prize pool)
- 4th Place: $25,000 (10% of the prize pool)
- 5th Place: $20,000 (8% of the prize pool)
- 6th Place: $20,000 (8% of the prize pool)
- 7th Place: $15,000 (6% of the prize pool)
- 8th Place: $15,000 (6% of the prize pool)
- 9th Place: $12,500 (5% of the prize pool)
- 10th Place: $7,500 (3% of the prize pool)
- 11th Place: $7,500 (3% of the prize pool)
- 12th Place: $5,000 (2% of the prize pool)
- 13th Place: $5,000 (2% of the prize pool)
MSI 2023's minimum prize pool has been established, but there are additional contributions to the prize money. Fan purchases of passes and Inkshadow Yasuo will add 25% of the funds generated to the prize pool, while 50% of the MSI 2023 Esports Premium Bundle's earnings will also go towards the prize money.
