League of Legends Patch 13.11 has arrived, bringing a host of adjustments following the extensive item reworks introduced in Patch 13.10. Notable changes include nerfs to Stormrazor, Echoes of Helia, and Youmuu's Ghostblade.

Items like Moonstone Renewer, Navori Quickblades, and Statikk Shiv have received significant buffs. This patch aims to address the significant changes made in the previous update.

Excitement is building for the release of the DRX skins on June 2, 2023, which has garnered attention from many players. Additionally, Patch 13.11 introduces the Rell midscope and includes several champion balance changes. However, the planned Ivern rework has been postponed by Riot Games in response to player feedback.

LoL buff sharing explained

In Patch 13.11, Riot Games is introducing a significant mechanical change called "Buff Sharing." Here are the official changes as stated in the patch notes:

Buff Wisps

  • When the jungler's Smite is fully upgraded, slaying the Red Brambleback or the Blue Sentinel will grant the jungle the buff and generate a Buff Wisp.
  • Within 1 minute of the camp's demise, an ally can collect the Buff Wisp before it disappears.
  • Using Smite on the camp is not necessary to create a Wisp, but the Smite must be fully upgraded.

But I'm Not The Jungler

  • If a non-jungler player kills the Red Brambleback or Blue Sentinel, they will receive the buff.
  • Additionally, if the jungler has a fully upgraded Smite, it will create a Buff Wisp that only the jungle can see. The Wisp will persist for one minute.

Riot Games provided a rationale for implementing these changes, highlighting the issue of junglers having to give up buffs to their laners, which created tension. To alleviate this problem, the introduction of Buff Sharing was deemed necessary.

This alteration will have a substantial impact by enabling junglers to retain their buffs while also granting allies a buff that can contribute to securing victories. Players have expressed positive reception towards this change, embracing it as a welcome improvement.
