A small series of leaked screenshots for HoYoverse’s secretive new game Nodusfall have reportedly given fans their first look at the title’s gameplay. The images have surfaced online amidst a growing interest in the mysterious project.
HoYoverse has yet to confirm the official existence of Nodusfall, so very little is known about the project. Earlier this year, the studio-to-be trademarked the title through Cognosphere. It has also been reported that Nodusfall is tied to a realistic fantasy project HoYoverse has been hiring developers for.
The leaked screenshots are said to come from an NDA test of the game and showcase some of the first real gameplay that’s been seen from the title so far. Whether or not the footage is legit still remains to be seen, but if it is real, players can finally get an idea of what to expect from HoYoverse’s mysterious project.
Screenshots Claim to Show Nodusfall Gameplay
A compilation of the new screenshots were posted to Twitter by Gacha Zone, who claimed that the images show the first look at Nodusfall’s gameplay.
The title has been rumored to be titled The Weavers in leak circles recently, but HoYoverse has not said whether or not that is the final name of the game and how it fits in with Nodusfall.
It was recently reported that Nodusfall could be built on Unreal Engine 5 and sport a realistic, fantasy world in contrast to games like Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero. Large open worlds, big boss fights, various ecosystems, and co-op gameplay have also been rumored to be included in the game.
An intriguing detail that has been shared about Nodusfall came from a leak describing the title from an NDA test as “Hoyo’s Monster Hunter.” Some are predicting that hunting large creatures and big bosses will play a key factor in the gameplay.
It’s important to note that none of these details have been confirmed at this time, so take everything you read with a grain of salt. Until we receive more information from HoYoverse directly, everything should be treated as speculation.
