Phantom Blade Zero will launch with a $59.99 Standard Edition and a $69.99 Deluxe Edition, keeping its price below many modern AAA games.

AAA game prices are still rising, but Phantom Blade Zero isn’t following that trend. While it certainly looks like a traditional big-budget action game, S-Game announced that the Standard Edition will cost just $59.99.

For players who would like a few bonuses along with their game, there will be a Deluxe Edition of Phantom Blade Zero available as well. That version will set you back $69.99, still considerably lower than some other releases you can find on store shelves. Timing wise, Phantom Blade Zero should have a fairly good window to attract gamers.

AAA Games love to up prices these days. While $70 used to be rare, we’re starting to see publishers push $80, and even $90 for some editions of games. If you’re simply looking to buy Phantom Blade Zero and not a bunch of digital fluff, the Standard Edition is by far the way to go.
