Currently, Helldivers 2 has about 500,00 concurrent users on Steam alone, while the number of PS5 players is around the same ballpark. And this number is steadily growing each day as more Helldivers are joining in the war to spread democracy across the cosmos.
Even though the server-related issues have simmered down substantially thanks to the increased server capacity, the game is still riddled with a lot of issues that are yet to be resolved.
So team Arrowhead released just patch 1.000.13 to resolve some of the current critical issues with the game and stabilize the meta.
All Fixes and Updates Made on Patch 1.000.13 in Helldivers 2
These issues and bugs were resolved on this patch:
- The Super Credits not showing up after purchase or collection issue
- Premium Warbond not being accessible after purchase bug
- Crashes that could occur when a player changes their rank or title
- The missing text in HUD for Acquisitions and Social menus
- Crash that could occur while browsing the mission Hologram
- The unlimited stratagem use glitch which occurred after an AFK kick
- Missing equipment issues after an AFK kick
- Purple question marks appear after an AFK kick
Also, the login speed and error messages on PS5 were resolved along with the addition of support for AZERTY keyboards.
New and Unresolved Issues with Helldivers 2:
- Armor values for light/medium/heavy armor do not currently function as intended.
- Japanese VO is missing from the intro cutscene and Ship TV.
- Login rate limiting when many are logging in at the same time.
- New Personal Orders are not showing.
- Pick-up of certain objects in-game may cause characters to freeze in place for an extended period.
- Players can become disconnected during play.
- Rewards and other progress may be delayed or not attributed.
- Various UI issues may appear when the game interacts with servers.
- Some games would not be joinable by others for a short time during heavy load.
However, currently, the biggest issue with the game is cheating. Yes, the players are slowly starting to cheat on Helldivers 2 and exploiting the game and their numbers are slowly growing.
Let's hope the Arrowhead team quickly comes up with an anti-cheat system for the game.
