Helldivers 2 is a live-service extraction shooter from Arrowhead Game Studios. It is a direct sequel to the 2015 top-down shooter Helldivers.
In Helldivers 2, players can unlock all in-game items by leveling up. Players can access new stratagems and support weapons with each level's progress. However, leveling up in Helldivers 2 can be tricky if you are unfamiliar with a few in-game methods. Here are a few things you can do to level up faster in Helldivers 2.
How to Level Up Faster in Helldivers 2
After you complete the tutorial mission, you'll be assigned to your destroyer. From your destroyer, you can deploy to different planets and fight for liberty. With mission and assigned tasks, you'll start gaining XP, which will count towards your player level.
With each level up, you will unlock different in-game stratagems and support weapons for completing missions at higher difficulties against Terminids and Automatons. While you'll gain a fixed amount of XP for completing in-game missions and objectives, you can increase the XP gain rate by doing a few additional tasks.
To increase the amount of XP you get in-game during missions, try to play Helldivers 2 with an entire squad. With more players in the team, you'll be able to complete all main and side objectives during a mission more efficiently. Moreover, it will also increase your chances of survival against brutal enemy types such as the Chargers and Bile Titans.
After deploying on a planet, head over to your Main Objective. After completing the primary mission, start navigating toward the side missions. The side missions generally provide a good amount of XP on higher difficulties. Once you're done with the side-missions, clean up all Bug Nests in the combat area before extraction to gain the maximum amount of XP.
Play Eradicate missions with an entire team. These missions are straightforward to complete compared to the usual 40-minute missions. While starting an Eradicate mission, consider setting the difficulty to Challenging and above to increase the rate of XP gained. Aside from following these methods, you should consider playing all missions on higher difficulty levels to increase your XP gain rate.
